Atlanta Native Actor Kerwin Thompson Premieres Provocative Short Film ?Enough! in Hometown Screening

A gripping short film about creative struggle and emotional resilience makes its U.S. and Atlanta debut following its world premiere at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival.

ATLANTA, Georgia | August 21, 2025 — Acclaimed Atlanta native Kerwin Thompson returns to his hometown this Saturday, August 23, for the highly anticipated United States and Atlanta premiere of ?Enough!, a bold and introspective short film that confronts the inner struggles of artists battling fear, doubt, and Imposter Syndrome.

The premiere will take place at 3:15 PM EDT at Tara Atlanta in the George screening room (2345 Cheshire Bridge Road NE, Atlanta, GA 30324). The screening marks the official hometown debut of a film that is both deeply personal and universally resonant.

?Enough! explores the mental and emotional terrain that many creatives navigate in silence. Through a compelling ensemble performance, the film interrogates the paralyzing forces of shame and self-doubt that often block artists from seeking support. Audiences have appreciated the film’s universal appeal.

Directed by Dap Paxton and written and produced by a powerful creative team including Kerwin Thompson, Enoch A. King, Jason C. Louder, and Paxton, the film also stars all four men in lead roles. Thompson, who also serves as a producer, recently won Best Actor at the 2025 France/Africa USA International Film Festivals for his powerful performance in the film.

“This film is a mirror held up to the creative soul,” said Kerwin Thompson. “Bringing it home to Atlanta, where my journey began, is more than just a milestone. It’s a full-circle moment.”

The screening is part of the Shorts program and offers a raw, emotive experience that will resonate with artists and audiences alike.
